Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-24

These terms apply to your use of figcraft.org. By using the site you accept them. The short version: this is a free, account-free community host for open source software, provided as is, with no warranty and no data recovery.

The service

figcraft.org independently hosts the static web build of FigCraft v0.10.0, an open source design editor, together with guides such as the self-hosting guide. The software is early alpha; browser and desktop capabilities differ.

Open source license

The editor is licensed by its upstream authors under the MIT or Apache-2.0 license, at your option. Those licenses govern the software itself. We preserve the bundled MIT, Apache-2.0 and NOTICE files. The licenses do not grant permission to use the ArtCraft name, wordmark or logos as your own branding.

No accounts, no storage

The editor runs in your browser and this site stores none of your documents. We make no commitments about uptime, availability, backups or recovery of anything you do in the browser. Do not treat an open tab as your only copy.

Acceptable use

Use the site for lawful purposes only. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or circumvent the security of the hosting infrastructure. We may restrict access to protect the service.

Trademarks

FigCraft is an independent open source project. This website is not the official FigCraft project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to ArtCraft or Figma. Figma and ArtCraft names and marks belong to their respective owners; nothing here grants you a license to use them.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service and the editor are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the host of this website is not liable for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, or any other damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes

We may change these terms or the service. If the terms change materially, the date above will be updated. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
